We’d love to have you join us for Christmas at Compass as we celebrate this special season. This is one of my favorite times of the year, and here at Compass, we want to make sure that our focus is on Jesus, the true source of hope, peace, and joy. We meet each Sunday at 10am, and will also meet on Tuesday, December 24, at 4pm for a special Candlelight Christmas Eve Service. We hope you’ll be encouraged by your time with us.

This week, your kids will see God defend Jerusalem from the invading Assyrians. Using both truth and lies, the Assyrians tried to make the people of Judah doubt God’s protection over them. In the face of this danger and doubt, King Hezekiah turned to the Lord, remembering how powerful God is and asking God to show his glory by protecting them from the Assyrians. The Lord destroyed the Assyrian army, and silenced the boasting of the Assyrians. Your kids will learn that God is always reliable refuge, even in our darkest moments.
