This Weekend

May 12, 2024

Time: 10:00 am
Address: 10710 Frisco St, Frisco, TX 75033

Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd.” You’ve probably heard that before. Maybe you even grew up with a painting of a shepherd hanging on the wall with those words underneath. But what does that mean that Jesus is our shepherd? Why do we even need a shepherd? And what good is a shepherd who dies while protecting the sheep? These are questions that we’ll find answers to in our study of John 10:1-21. Join us this weekend at 10AM at Compass Bible Church.

This Week’s Set List

Worship is an outward expression coming from the overflow of the heart. At Compass, our services are times of intentional celebration and remembrance of what Jesus has done for us. Through the songs we sing, we express what we believe about God and confess our need for him. Here’s our set list for the weekend:

This Week’s Kids Min

God promised Israel that He would give them a land flowing with milk and honey. This Sunday, we will see how the nation rejected God and his promise following the evil report of the ten spies. The Lord responded by judging the people, demonstrating both his mercy and the severe consequences of sin. He swore in his wrath that the first generation of Israelites out of Egypt would not enter his promised rest. Your kids will hear a similar call to accept the promise of the Gospel and be warned again of the severe consequences of sin that come to those who reject the Word of God.
