What's The Big Deal About Being In Christ? (1 Corinthians 1:30-31)
Do you remember picking teams in elementary school? There was always that one kid you knew—if he was on your team, you were going to win. You were so confident that you might start boasting about the victory before the game even started. When we come to our next passage in 1 Corinthians, we find that God has designed our salvation so that everything we need is found in Christ. He is our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. There’s nothing left for us to boast about except Him. What do you need besides Jesus? Nothing.
