At Compass Bible Church, our KIDS Ministry seeks to plant seeds in every child’s heart that God might one day grow into a passion for Christ. Through an engaging and age-appropriate learning environment, we pursue a deep exploration of God’s word for young learners. With a love for God and a keen desire to nurture the next generation, our volunteers turn every class into an enriching journey toward knowing, loving, and serving God. Surprise! It’s Palm Sunday in September! This weekend, your kids will learn about Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. The way Jesus came to Jerusalem shows that he is God’s chosen King, the Messiah who would fulfill all God’s promises to his people. Jesus also wept over Jerusalem, because the same people who welcomed him into the city would soon reject him and face God’s judgment.
This week we will learn about The Canon and the central truth will answer the question: How many books are in the Bible? This week’s memory verse will be Prov 30:6.
