At Compass Bible Church, our KIDS Ministry seeks to plant seeds in every child’s heart that God might one day grow into a passion for Christ. Through an engaging and age-appropriate learning environment, we pursue a deep exploration of God’s word for young learners. With a love for God and a keen desire to nurture the next generation, our volunteers turn every class into an enriching journey toward knowing, loving, and serving God. Even adults are unaware of the Holy Spirit’s identity and role. This Sunday, we’ll study him from Acts 2 with your kids. Jesus poured out His Spirit on the disciples, enabling them to speak in unknown languages. They called on the Lord’s name for salvation, and the Spirit confirmed Jesus as the Lord. Many repented and were baptized, founding the church. We pray your kids respond similarly!
This week we will learn about God Is Sovereign and the central truth will answer the question: What does it mean that God is sovereign? This week’s memory verse will be Job 42:2.
