The fear of God is one of the more ambiguous and misunderstood aspects of Christianity. But we don’t have to be afraid of the fear of God. It’s good that we understand it because in our passage this weekend, Peter’s going to call us to conduct ourselves with the fear of God during the time of our exile. This Sunday we’ll unpack 1 Peter 1:17-21 and find out what it means to fear the Lord, why it’s necessary, and how we can embrace it as a natural extension of our relationship with God. Join us as we continue with part three of our series, “Responding to Hope.”
