When most Christians think about God’s grace, they probably think about salvation, and that makes total sense. However, we risk falling prey to thinking we somehow leave God’s grace behind after salvation. The Corinthians were in danger of doing just that. They had grown arrogant and were boasting in their gifts and status, forgetting that it was God who had provided it all to begin with.
In response to their pride, Paul gave thanks for the grace of God, that robbed them of their boasting and put His glory on full display.
